EU–MENA B2B Matchmaking Event
Renewable Hydrogen Sector | European Hydrogen Week 2026

MED-GEM Network, in collaboration with the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC), is organising a dedicated EU–MENA B2B Matchmaking Event during European Hydrogen Week 2026.
The event will connect selected MENA companies and project developers with European businesses, investors, technology providers and off-takers active across the renewable hydrogen, renewable energy and clean technology value chains.
Why take part?
Selected companies will have the opportunity to:
- present a concrete and advanced project to a European business audience;
- take part in targeted B2B matchmaking meetings based on specific partnership needs;
- explore investment, technology, financing, infrastructure and off-take opportunities;
- access European Hydrogen Week and expand their network across the European hydrogen ecosystem.
Who can apply?
The call is open to MENA-based companies with concrete and advanced renewable hydrogen, renewable energy or clean technology projects supporting the green transition.
Projects should have a clear commercial objective and be sufficiently mature to be presented to potential European partners.
What support is provided?
For each selected company, MED-GEM will cover:
Flight and hotel accommodation for one representative, for the travel period linked to the event.
Additional company representatives may participate at their own expense.
Application requirements
Applicants should provide:
- a project presentation of up to 2 pages covering the concept, maturity stage, business model and partnership needs;
- a company profile;
- confirmation of availability to deliver a short project pitch in English during the event;
- confirmation of a valid Schengen visa or eligibility for visa-free entry into Belgium.
A pitch deck of up to 5 slides will also be required for the event and may be refined ahead of the matchmaking sessions.
