Component 5 of the MED-GEM Network underscores the critical role of raising awareness on energy and climate change challenges, emphasizing the necessity for behavioral changes. Recognized as a cross-cutting activity with strong interlinkages to other components, Component 5 serves as a catalyst, amplifying the impact of the entire project. Communication is paramount in garnering support from key stakeholders. The green energy transition demands behavioral shifts and widespread awareness throughout the region for successful implementation. 

To achieve this, the MED-GEM Project outlines activities such as preparing thematic communication materials and campaigns focused on energy and climate change challenges, building a network of skills through coordinated events, sharing training resources on renewable hydrogen and Green Electrons and Molecules (GEM) topics via online platforms, and supporting the promotion of policy measures and regulatory frameworks for clean energy regional market integration.
