This high-level session, organised in partnership with IRENA and MED-GEM Network, will tackle one of today’s most ambitious international energy goals:
⚡ Tripling renewable energy capacity
⚡ Doubling energy efficiency by 2030

Moderated by Mr. Mohammad Chbaro (FELL-18), the session will feature:

• Opening keynote by H.E. Muhammad Nour Rahman Sheikh, Ambassador of India to Lebanon
• Mr. Abdallah Abou Ali (IRENA) on global efforts toward ambitious targets
• Dr. Zoheir Hamedi (RCREEE) on a regional action plan for the Arab World
• Toufic Rizkallah (MED-GEM Network) on green hydrogen opportunities for the Mediterranean basin
• Dr. Joseph Al Assad (LCEC/USEK) on Lebanon’s Green Hydrogen Strategy
