Women in Green Hydrogen Action Lab 2 | Middle East & GCC

Women in Green Hydrogen Action Lab 2 | Middle East & GCC

From Regional Evidence to Collective Action

📅 24 November 2026 | 14:00–15:30 CET
💻 Online | Microsoft Teams
🌍 Focus: Middle East & GCC
📋 Agenda: To be confirmed

Following the North Africa Action Lab held on 14 September 2026, MED-GEM Network, with the support of RCREEE and contributions from Women in Green Hydrogen (WiGH) and regional partners, is organising Action Lab 2, dedicated to women’s participation, leadership and opportunities in the green hydrogen sector across the Middle East and Gulf countries.

Why participate?

Women are already contributing to renewable energy, engineering, research and innovation. Yet significant barriers remain to accessing industrial projects, investment, technical leadership and decision-making.

Action Lab 2 aims to transform these challenges into practical recommendations and collective advocacy priorities through an interactive regional dialogue.

Participants will explore:

  • Where are the women? Mapping expertise and professional roles across the green hydrogen value chain.
  • What is holding women back? Identifying barriers to skills, projects, finance and leadership.
  • What should we activate next? Defining solutions, partnerships and priorities for fairer policies and equal opportunities.

How to participate

1. Contribute to the Middle East & GCC expert mapping

Take approximately three minutes to share your experience, expertise and priorities. The mapping results will inform the Action Lab discussions.

Building on Action Lab 1 – North Africa
